Engadget and a bunch of commenters on their post are complaining how on the new MacBook Pro people have to log out of Mac OS X (i.e. close all apps in the process) and log back in when switching from the energy saving card 9400M to the faster 9600M GT card.
Where is this world going to? Is anyone’s job/time really SO important that he/she cannot spare 15 seconds for apps to close up, new card to switch on - and then to load up anything that was running back again. I mean, really! Sure it can be a hassle if you have a bunch of things open, but at least on Mac, most apps start from where you left of anyways.
In reality, while this was available to me for 2 years now on my Sony Vaio SZ, I haven’t even used the switch twice 
. On this old SZ I even had to restart. The new Sony VAIO Z Series switches automatically in Vista.
Also, we all know Apple is going to take care of this soon enough - so stop crying about it you lazy *astards!
